Polish Consulate Meeting Date

Our date to meet at the Polish Consulate has been finalized.  Please mark your calendars for 6pm on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at the Polish Consulate located at 1530 N. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60610. This annual meeting is a great opportunity to meet the members of the Polish Consulate and the Consul General’s staff.

Due to newly instituted Consulate security measures only those who have sent an RSVP can be admitted. A guest list will be strictly enforced at the door.  If you plan to attend, please contact First Vice President Steve Rakowski at steve@lsrfamilylaw.com

Clothing Drive for the PAA June 8, 2013 @Copernicus Center (Annex)
The Advocates Society is having a clothing drive to assist the PAA on Saturday June 8, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. 12: p.m. at the Copernicus Center 5214 W. Lawrence Ave (the Annex). Pull your car up and drop your items off.

Please bring your of gently used adult and children clothing, shoes, and household items for the Polish American Association’s Clothing Closet. The PAA serves over 130 families and homeless male customers providing emergency clothing and other much needed household items to those in unexpected hardship. We held our last board meeting at the PAA and were able to see first hand what wonderful work the PAA performs and what dire need there is for assistance.
